- I liked the campus life it is overall nice plus there is quite a number of social interactions
- The faculties are expertise in their own fields, they have good mentorship quality and they have good teaching methods
- There is a number of placement opportunities in the college and a number of interships. Also the campus has a good infrastructure and a good quality of learning facilities.
Dislikes
- Some work is needed in overall activities done in college
Remarks :
Graduate in 10th and 12 th standard. You can find the application form, Fees,Date by contacting the gehu office from the number in the official website. . There is no reservation benefit at all. The frequency is at time and also the difficulty level is good enough.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The thing that influenced me to choose this course was my interest in Computer science field and also the opportunity given in the college. It makes us able to face real world applications. The difficulty level of exams is moderate. The frequency of exams is every 3 months. The area of improvement would be providing more virtual labs.
Internships Opportunities :
Some of the internships offered in recent times are from BNY MELLON and ATLASSIAN. But i didn't know about the roles and stipend. I didn't have information about the projects and outcomes. As I have just entered the 2 nd year so i would need some time to know about intership programs
Placement Experience :
From 3rd year the students are eligible for internships and in the 4th year the students are eligible for placements. Dee shaw, infosys, tata, hikeedu,. 40% students get placed. I have a plan of cracking GATE exam. I am not sure about the highest and lowest package
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees I am paying is around 160000. The tution fee is 241500 without any scholarships, registration fees is 1500,the admission fee is 10000,the caution fee is 5000,other charges compile a total of 20500. As for example my friend is paying 200000 fees as he has no academic scholarship. There are several scholarship groups according to percent of students in 12th standard, JEE percentile, 5%for defense background students, 5% for sports quota who have national certificate
Campus Life :
There is an annual fest known as grafest in may month. Also several fests and sports tournament are organised in October and november. There is a wide range of books available in library and we can access them for 1 month and then we have to return then and then re issue them. There is projector provided in the classrooms and mic and speaker. There are many clubs such as eco club.
Faculty :
The faculty: student is 90:1 it doesn't impacts at all. There is a good learning environment in the class. We can interact with teachers anytime at their personal phone numbers and we can reach them physically

Course Curriculum Overview :
I like this course because this having much ecompetetion in this field and i likely to choose competetions much better and i also know too handle them. -I think they had to worlk on their sylllabus curriculum anmd university propspectus . -Exams are coming at a moderate level form the syllabus and itrs very rare to come other things out of syllabus.

after 5th to 6th semester students became eligible for campus placement. many companies visit the college like Calvin Klein, daffodils, boon, capitalvia, yhills, byjus, jio,etc. in 2024 12lpa was highest package offered by company boon. average package was 4.5 to 5lpa, more than 90% students get placed in companies, i want to pursue higher post graduate after completion of my course

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like wipro, tcs visits every year Average placement here is 6 lacs. About 80% of students gets placed every year but placement record needs to be grow
Light on Life at UPES
Placement Experience :
Currently, the placements start about a month after you enter your final year. I obviously don't have any official data regarding which company come and which don't but some of the notable ones I heard that came this year are D.E Shaw, Decathlon, Infosys, Intel etc. The highest recorded package as mentioned by the college for CS is 50 LPA and the average for the same is about 8 LPA. Percentage of students who got placed this year was a bit less, like most of the colleges this year. I plan to take up a job and after gaining some experience, would love to get a second degree
Great college for local students
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum and teaching method should be revised as they are very old and sometimes not even match the basic industrial requirement. More industrial oriented subject should be introduced in the curriculum and labs should get more weightage.
