The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology at the qualifying examination as mentioned in the Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 1997 as amended in 2018.

In respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes,the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examinations shall be 40% marks instead of 50% marks for General category candidates. In respect of candidates with Bench Mark Disabilities specified under the Rights of Person with Disabilities Act, 2016, the minimum marks in qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination shall be 45% instead of 50% for General category candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

The students educated abroad seeking admission into medical colleges in India must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English up to the 12th standard level with 50% marks and their equivalency determined as per regulations of the Medical Council of India and the University.

Course Duration:  4½ years (one year internship – additional)

• The Tuition Fee for resident(General & Minority Category) Indians shall be 13,50,000 per annum and is charged for 4½ years. For the session 2023-24.
• For Non -Resident Indian/Foreign and other students admitted on seats reserved for NRI the annual college fee shall be $ 21,000 (USD) per annum.
• The student Development charge of Rs.50,000  is payable annually and is charged for 4½ years.
• Refundable Security Fee Rs. 1,00,000 is payable at the time of admission one time and will be refunded on completion of internship after deducting damages/dues as the case may be.
