What I Liked

The campus life.The area inside the Sathyabama Institute campus is quite large but our block is located seperately.
Free bus is a major plus point of sathyabama college
The food is very good in taste and also nice menu.

What I didn’t like

We have to walk very wast distance for mess or auditoriums.
Our block is seperated from the main block of the college. Since our block is air conditioned.
The friends in my college are not good as my school friends.

Remarks:

Since my sister have pursued the same course in my college have been placed in a good company so she adviced me to do the same which was my interest also. So I have chosen Sathyabama Institute over other colleges.

About my college

What I Liked

Good infrastructure, well- built -up, neat classrooms
My college is providing free afternoon food for all students, including day scholars. Both non- vegitarian and vegitarian, and free transport service for all students
In my college, there are more clubs, and they are conducting events daily, like understanding the concepts and learning something new from some other departments. and fun events are conducted daily
Well- trained staff, and they are teaching and guiding us from scratch. And each semester carries out one paper for understanding day-to-day life, struggling, health, ect...

What I didn’t like

There are more other state students are studying in our college, they are all showing more attitude to everyone, and they don't respect staff's
In our college, discipline is a must. We must wear shoes, and we need to wear ID cards every time we roam inside the college. We are not supposed to wear t-shirts.
They will conduct exams and quizzes often and make us take seminars . We must converse in English language only

Remarks:

We need to complete computer science group in our school We can find application details all other stuffs through sathyabama college website or visiting the college If we get addmission before 2 month the cost of tution fees will be less compared to last minute of joining the college

Life of sathyabamite

What I Liked

Faculty, students, canteen, seniors,lab periods, events, culturals
Events conducted by seniors, hostel day, iv tour,
The place, its cool. I love the area where it is located.

What I didn’t like

Hostel wardens, foods, must pay for drinking water
Water comes only one hour per day and we must fetch water
No respect given for parents and by staff and wardens

Remarks:

Anyone who has money can pay the fees. It can be done through online or offline. No reservations. Timings of exams is a bit tough and they rush portions. They can manage everyone well in my opinion. They have the staffs to do it but they won't

How good is placement at Sathyabama University?

Most students and parents are concerned about this question and many of them ask regarding the placements at many colleges.

As far as my sister’s batch was concerned, there were around 1,500 students in the CSE department alone. Getting a job outside the campus is quite tough presently. Most people will hence go for an on-campus interview.

Top recruiters of the university include TCS, CTS, Wipro, and Infosys. The bulk of the student population is mass recruited here for jobs with an average salary of INR 3.5 to 4.5 LPA. After that, many dream companies and super dream companies also visit.

You need to have a strong portfolio and so on. My advice to you would be to maintain good grades throughout your semesters and you should also try to learn new things apart from your daily studies.

You should try to explore the field you are interested in and keep yourself updated with current information and technology in your field and not be a bookworm.

You can also try to build your own startup if you wish to not get placed in a company. This will definitely set you apart from the rest of your classmates and maybe in the future, you will be able to provide jobs to other students.

Which is the best university, Sathyabama or Karunya?

Both Karunya and Satyabhama are Christian minority institutions and it depends mostly on what you are looking for. You must know that Karunya University is strictly religious and they might force you to follow the same. Academics is their secondary focus.

Whereas, Sathyabama is a bit more lenient in this way. It offers great exposure due to its location in Chennai. It will be a better option for you when compared to Karunya. However, the facilities offered are not good and not even functional. The faculty members are also average and are not exceptional. It is currently a Deemed-to-be university

Both these institutes are subpar and if you really want to have a bright future, look for better options.

Which one is better for a B.Tech in CS, LNCT Bhopal or Satyabhama, Chennai?

Go for a Computer Science course at Sathyabama University, Chennai as it would be a better choice for your career. However, this in no way means that LNCT is not a good institution.

You should work upon your skills, as it would help you get a job later in the domain of Information Technology if your career goal is to be placed in an IT company.
Satyabhama is located in the southern region of India. There are many reputed IT companies situated there especially in cities like Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.
This would offer you an advantage in attending seminars and competitions. This will also increase your industrial reach. You can go for industry visits, opt for internships, etc.
Finally, this would help you in acquiring a job role in a multinational company or a startup.
